Tea Area Titans Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade
The Tea Area Titans, a Class 11A program, officially broke ground on a $3 million facility upgrade Friday, setting the stage for a promising 2026 season. The Titans finished last season with a 7-3 record, narrowly missing the playoffs. The new facility will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, an expanded weight room and upgraded practice fields. The upgrade is expected to boost recruiting efforts, attracting top talent to the program. With the improved facilities, Titans coach John Smith believes the team will be more competitive in the highly competitive Eastern Dakota Conference. 'This is a game-changer for our program,' Smith said. 'We're excited to see the impact it will have on our players and our community.' The upgrade is expected to be completed by the start of the season, giving the Titans a significant edge in the competitive 11A classification.
