Unlocking the Lynx: A TE-Specific Drill for Brandon Valley Football

๐Ÿ“ Brandon Valley LynxยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

This summer, Brandon Valley TE's are putting in the work with a drill designed to improve their route-running and separation skills. The 'Lynx Loop' drill involves 3 sets of 5 reps, with a 30-second rest between sets. Players start at the line of scrimmage, then loop around a cone 5 yards off the line, before cutting sharply to a designated spot 10 yards downfield. Coaches should emphasize 'quick feet' and 'aggressive hands' as players execute the drill. This drill translates to game performance by teaching TEs to create separation from defenders with speed and agility. It also simulates the quick changes of direction they'll face on the field, making them more effective in the passing game.
