Brandon Valley Lynx Hire Strength Coach Ahead of Camp

๐Ÿ“ Brandon Valley LynxยทSaturday, July 25, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Brandon Valley High School has announced the hiring of a new strength and conditioning coordinator, Matt Thompson, who will oversee the Lynx football program's offseason training regimen. The Lynx, a Class 11AA powerhouse, finished the 2025 season with a 9-3 record and a runner-up finish in the state playoffs. Thompson's addition is expected to bolster the program's recruiting efforts, particularly in the western part of the state, where Brandon Valley has traditionally drawn talent. The Lynx will look to build on their recent success and challenge for a state championship in the upcoming season. With Thompson at the helm, the program's strength and conditioning program is expected to be more rigorous and competitive, giving the Lynx a leg up on their opponents.
