Jayden Thompson Commits to Arkansas
Roosevelt Rough Riders tight end Jayden Thompson has committed to the University of Arkansas for the Class of 2026. Thompson, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect, chose the Razorbacks over offers from several Power Five programs. The 11AA standout cited Arkansas' pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision, noting the opportunity to contribute immediately in a depth chart that features returning starters at tight end. Thompson also praised the Razorbacks' academic program, which boasts a 95% graduation rate. He had previously committed to the University of Nebraska but reopened his recruitment in May after a coaching change. Arkansas' coaching staff, led by head coach Sam Pittman, has a reputation for developing tight ends, and Thompson believes he can thrive in their system.
