Texas Offers 2026 LB Elijah Walker of Whitehaven Tigers
The University of Texas has extended an offer to 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker Elijah Walker of Whitehaven High School in Memphis. Walker, a rising junior, has been a standout performer for the Tigers, recording 75 tackles and 3 sacks as a sophomore. He also boasts a 4.6 40-yard dash time and a 32-inch vertical jump. Walker has already received offers from Power Five programs Alabama and Auburn, as well as SEC rival Ole Miss. He is also being pursued by several Group of Five schools, including Memphis and Arkansas State. Walker's recruitment is expected to heat up in the coming months, with several top programs likely to offer him in the near future. The Tigers' star linebacker is expected to attend several camps this summer, including the Nike Football Training Camp and the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge. Walker's recruitment timeline is expected to take shape in the next few months, with a decision potentially coming as early as the end of summer.
