Whitehaven Tigers Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs
As the TSSAA flag football pilot district expansion creates new opportunities for Texas athletes, Whitehaven Tigers players are focusing on verified scholarship programs. The inaugural 2028 season at the University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is a top target. The school will offer scholarships in the Power 4 conference. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are active recruiters with up to 12 scholarships available. Midland University, Nebraska, is also actively recruiting. UT Arlington, in development, does not yet offer scholarships. Whitehaven players can take concrete steps by researching these programs, attending summer camps and showcases, and creating highlight tapes to increase their visibility for potential scholarships.
