Brentwood Academy Eagles Girls Flag Football: New Scholarship Pathways Emerge with TSSAA Pilot Expansion

The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association's (TSSAA) rival TSSAA's flag football pilot district expansion is creating new scholarship opportunities for Texas athletes. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season, is a Power 4 school offering scholarships through coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse, awards up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are active recruiters. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is not yet offering scholarships. Brentwood Academy Eagles, a DII-AA team, can tap into these pathways.
