๐Ÿ“ Maryville RebelsยทSaturday, July 18, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Maryville Rebels' 6A powerhouse is counting on Malik Williams to anchor their line this season after the Class of 2025 standout overcame a torn ACL to earn a starting role. Williams' impressive recovery caught the attention of coaches, who praised his work ethic and dedication. 'He was a key contributor in our spring drills, and his progress was nothing short of remarkable,' said Rebels head coach, Jason Fitzsimmons. With a 315-pound bench press and 30-inch vertical leap, Williams' physical abilities are undeniable. But it's his mental toughness that has earned him the respect of his teammates and coaches. 'Malik's injury could have easily derailed his season, but he used it as motivation to come back stronger,' Fitzsimmons said. Scouts are now watching to see how Williams adapts to game speed and if he can maintain his level of performance throughout the season.
