Jalen Davis: From ACL to Starter

๐Ÿ“ Oakland PatriotsยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Oakland Patriots linebacker Jalen Davis has been a force to be reckoned with on the field, despite a significant setback in his prep career. Last season, Davis recorded 14 tackles for loss, including 5 sacks, in just 6 games played. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound senior's impressive performance earned him a starting role heading into the 2026 campaign. Davis's journey to the top was not without its challenges, however. A torn ACL in his sophomore year forced him to spend a season rehabbing and rebuilding his strength and endurance. The hard work paid off, as Davis returned to the field a stronger, more focused player. This preseason, scouts are keeping a close eye on Davis's ability to maintain his production over a full season, as well as his potential to make an impact in the passing game. Can Davis continue to dominate on the field and lead the Patriots to a successful season?
