Whitehaven Flag Prospects Eye NAIA Powerhouses at Ottawa University, Keiser University
The Whitehaven Tigers flag program is primed for a breakout season, and local athletes are taking notice of the scholarship opportunities available at NAIA powerhouses Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska will launch their inaugural NCAA Division I flag program in 2028, but for now, the Tigers' top flag prospects are looking to the NAIA for immediate scholarship opportunities. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, and Keiser University, an active recruiter, are hosting camps this summer that Whitehaven athletes are encouraged to attend. By visiting these camps, local flag prospects can gain valuable experience and put themselves on the radar for potential scholarships.
