Jalen Smith Commits to Kansas State
Jalen Smith, a Class of 2027 kicker for the MBA Trojans, has committed to Kansas State University. Smith, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound specialist, chose the Wildcats due to their strong emphasis on developing kickers within their system. The Trojans' head coach, John Doe, praised Smith's decision, citing the program's reputation for producing skilled kickers who excel in the Big 12 Conference's high-scoring environment. Smith also noted the academic program's strong reputation in his desired major, business administration. Smith had previously committed to the University of Tennessee, but decommitted in April to explore other options. He will join a Kansas State team that is rebuilding its kicking unit after the departure of last season's starter. Smith's commitment is a significant addition to the Wildcats' 2027 recruiting class.
