Duncanville Flag Football Prospect Draws Interest from Nebraska, NAIA Powerhouses
Duncanville Panthers sophomore flag football standout, Emily Wilson, has garnered attention from top programs, including the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season squad, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Wilson's impressive skills have also caught the eye of Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse offering up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, have also expressed interest in the talented athlete. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. Wilson and her family can explore verified scholarship pathways by attending summer camps and showcases, which will provide opportunities to connect with coaches and gain exposure. As the 2026 season approaches, Wilson's recruitment will be one to watch.
