CB Jordan Martin Commits to Army
Duncanville Panthers Class of 2027 cornerback Jordan Martin has committed to Army, the school announced Thursday. Martin, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back, chose the Black Knights over offers from several Power Five programs. The Duncanville native cited Army's unique blend of athletic and academic opportunities as a key factor in his decision. "I'm excited about the chance to compete in a 3-4 scheme, where my skills as a cover corner will be utilized to the fullest," Martin said. "Additionally, I'm looking forward to being part of a strong academic community that will prepare me for success beyond my playing days." Martin had previously decommitted from Texas Tech, but ultimately decided that Army's program best fit his needs. He is expected to enroll in the summer of 2027 and participate in Army's summer camp before the start of his senior season.
