Prosper Eagles Coach Signs Contract Extension Through 2028

Prosper High School head football coach, Chad Morris, has signed a contract extension through the 2028 season, the school announced Thursday. Morris led the Eagles to back-to-back playoff appearances in 2024 and 2025, finishing with a 12-2 overall record in 2024. The Eagles will return to Class 6A this season, following a one-year stint in Class 5A. The contract extension is expected to help stabilize the program's recruiting efforts, as Morris has a strong track record of attracting top talent to Prosper. The move also solidifies the Eagles' position as a top contender in the highly competitive District 7-6A, where they will face off against perennial powerhouses like Allen and McKinney.
