FridayNightPulse Training Tip: Prosper Eagles TE Drill

๐Ÿ“ Prosper EaglesยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

This summer, Prosper Eagles tight end prospects can dominate at the line of scrimmage with the 'Anchor and Release' drill. Set up four stations: blocking sled, resistance bands, box drills, and agility ladder. Divide players into sets of three. At each station, have them complete 3 sets of 10 reps. Coaches should emphasize proper footwork, hand placement, and core engagement. At the blocking sled, focus on driving feet and extending arms. With resistance bands, work on quick releases and maintaining hand position. Box drills target quick changes of direction, while agility ladder exercises improve foot speed and agility. This drill translates to game performance by improving TE's ability to secure passes, block defenders, and create separation in tight spaces. By mastering the 'Anchor and Release' drill, Prosper Eagles TE's will be a force to be reckoned with this season.
