Lake Travis Cavaliers' standout flag football player, Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of several top programs. The rising senior has received interest from the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA Division I flag football program in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also shown interest. Both institutions offer NAIA flag football scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, has also reached out to Wilson. UT Arlington, another NCAA Division I program in development, has expressed interest but has not yet announced scholarship availability. Wilson is encouraged to research these programs and their scholarship opportunities to determine the best fit for her athletic and academic goals.
