DeSoto Eagles Quarterback Austin Robinson Commits to UTSA Roadrunners

Austin Robinson, the Eagles' starting quarterback for the Class of 2027, has committed to play for the UTSA Roadrunners. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal-caller chose UTSA due to the program's strong emphasis on the spread offense, a scheme that aligns with his skills and playing style. With the departure of several quarterbacks from last season's roster, Robinson sees an opportunity to compete for the starting job immediately. Additionally, UTSA's strong academic programs and research initiatives were a major draw for the DeSoto native. Robinson had previously considered several other Division I programs, but ultimately decided that UTSA offered the best fit for his athletic and academic goals.
