Aledo Bearcats' standout flag football player, Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of several top programs. The 5A prospect has received verified interest from the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football program in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also expressed interest in Wilson. Both Ottawa University and Keiser University offer up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, has also been actively recruiting Wilson. While UT Arlington's NCAA Division 1 program is in development, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. As Wilson continues to develop her skills, she is encouraged to focus on her academic performance and maintain open communication with interested coaches.
