Noah Young: Lone Peak's Academic All-Star Tight End
Lone Peak Knights tight end Noah Young dominated on the field last season, hauling in 12 touchdown receptions in 6A competition. The Class of 2026 standout's impressive performance earned him a spot on the Utah High School Activities Association's (UHSAA) all-state team. But Young's academic prowess is just as impressive. He maintains a 4.0 GPA, balancing varsity starter duties with rigorous coursework. 'I've always been a student-athlete,' Young said. 'I know how to manage my time and prioritize my schoolwork.' Young's dedication to both academics and athletics has caught the attention of college scouts. He's received interest from several Division I programs, including the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. As the Knights prepare for the upcoming season, Young is focused on building on his success from last year. 'I want to be a leader on and off the field,' he said. Scouts are watching for Young's ability to translate his production from high school to the next level, as well as his potential to contribute immediately as a freshman in college.
