Navigating Unofficial Visits Like a Pro
As a top 6A prospect, you're likely to receive invitations to unofficial visits from college coaches and programs. While these visits can be exciting, it's essential to approach them with professionalism. First, research the program and coach beforehand to ask informed questions. Be punctual and respectful, arriving 15 minutes early to show your commitment. During the visit, take notes and ask about specific positions, coaching styles and expectations. After the visit, send a thank-you note or email within 24 hours, reiterating your interest in the program. For example, if you're visiting Utah State, ask about their quarterback development program and how they've helped previous signal-callers succeed. This shows you've done your homework and are genuinely interested in their program.
