Lone Peak Knights Girls Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs

๐Ÿ“ Lone Peak KnightsยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The UHSAA's pilot district expansion for girls flag football is creating new scholarship pathways for Texas athletes. Lone Peak Knights players are advised to focus on verified programs, including the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural 2028 season with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Ottawa University, Kansas, offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships, while Keiser University, Florida, is an active recruiter. Midland University, Nebraska, also actively recruits flag football players. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is not yet offering scholarships. Eligible Lone Peak players can contact the University of Nebraska directly to inquire about the 2028 recruiting process. Ottawa University and Keiser University also have established contact procedures for interested athletes.
