Trevon Johnson Commits to Army Football
Corner Canyon Chargers defensive end Trevon Johnson has committed to Army football, the school announced Thursday. Johnson, a Class of 2027 standout, chose the Black Knights over offers from several other programs. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect cited Army's aggressive 3-4 defense as a key factor in his decision, noting the team's need for depth at defensive end. Johnson also praised the school's academic program, saying it aligns with his goals of pursuing a degree in engineering. The Chargers' coaching staff had been recruiting Johnson since his sophomore year, and he had previously committed to Utah State before decommitting in February. Johnson is expected to enroll at Army in the summer of 2027 and will have three years of eligibility remaining. He is considered one of the top defensive prospects in the state of Utah for the Class of 2027.
