The Skyridge Falcons, a 6A powerhouse from Lehi, are capitalizing on the UHSAA's flag football pilot district expansion to explore verified scholarship opportunities. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska are recruiting top talent for their inaugural 2028 season. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also actively recruiting, offering up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA program with a strong presence in the region. Meanwhile, UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, but not yet offering scholarships. Falcons players can leverage the UHSAA expansion to gain exposure and potentially secure a spot at one of these verified programs. Coaches and athletes are encouraged to research and connect with these institutions to explore scholarship pathways.
