The Westfield Bulldogs, a 6A program from Chantilly, are gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season of girls flag football at the University of Nebraska. As local prospects begin to focus on their future collegiate opportunities, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are extending invitations to their camps for talented flag players. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships available, and Keiser University, an active recruiter in the NAIA Sun Conference, are providing concrete pathways for Westfield Bulldogs flag prospects to develop their skills and secure scholarships. Interested athletes can contact Ottawa University's coaching staff directly to schedule a camp visit, while Keiser University is hosting a summer camp in August for prospective players. Midland University, Nebraska, and the University of Nebraska are also monitoring the progress of local flag players, with the latter set to launch its Power 5 program in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers.
