Bulldozing the Competition: Stone Bridge OL Drill

๐Ÿ“ Stone Bridge BulldogsยทFriday, July 24, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Stone Bridge Bulldogs' 5A linemen are gearing up for a dominant season, and one key drill is helping them prepare. The 'Plyometric Push-Pull' drill targets explosive power and speed, crucial for success in the trenches. The setup: two 10-yard cones, a 5-yard space between them, and a 20-pound medicine ball. Players start in a 3-point stance, then explosively push the medicine ball forward, immediately pulling it back in, mimicking a block and counter. Coaches cue: 'Fast feet, strong hands, and explosive power.' Perform 3 sets of 10 reps, with 30 seconds rest between sets. This drill translates to game performance by increasing the linemen's ability to rapidly change direction and generate force, making them nearly unstoppable on the field. The Bulldogs are ready to bulldoze their way to victory this season.
