Walker, Hunter, QB, Class of 2027, Stone Bridge Bulldogs, Commits to Texas Tech
Stone Bridge Bulldogs quarterback Hunter Walker has committed to Texas Tech University, according to sources close to the program. The Class of 2027 signal-caller chose the Red Raiders due to their pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset. Walker is expected to compete for the starting job as a true freshman, given the current depth chart. Additionally, Texas Tech's renowned engineering program was a major draw for Walker, who excels academically. This marks Walker's first commitment, having previously been unattached since decommitting from Virginia Tech in April. Walker's decision comes after a productive summer camp session with the Bulldogs, where he showcased his poise and accuracy. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback is expected to be a key contributor for the Bulldogs this fall.
