Middlebury Tigers Break Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade

The Middlebury Tigers, a Division II program, officially broke ground on a $2 million facility upgrade Friday. The project will modernize the team's locker rooms, add a state-of-the-art weight room and enhance the stadium's concessions and seating. Middlebury finished 6-4 last season, their best record in five years. The upgrade is expected to boost recruiting efforts, as the Tigers look to attract top talent in the Green Mountain State. With a more competitive facility, Middlebury head coach Mike Smith believes the team will be better equipped to compete with neighboring programs, including 2024 state champion, Rutland.
