Rutland Raiders Flag Football Prospects Eye Nebraska's 2028 Inaugural Season

๐Ÿ“ Rutland RaidersยทMonday, July 20, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Rutland Raiders flag football players are keeping a close eye on the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. The Big Ten program's entry into the NCAA Division 1 women's flag football landscape is expected to draw top talent from across the country. For Rutland prospects, this means increased opportunities to compete at the highest level. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse in NAIA flag football, offers up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters. While UT Arlington is developing its program, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. Raiders players interested in pursuing flag football scholarships should focus on building relationships with these programs and showcasing their skills through highlight tapes and summer camps.
