Burlington Sea Horses Promote Assistant Coach to Coordinator Role

๐Ÿ“ Burlington Sea HorsesยทFriday, July 24, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Burlington Sea Horses have elevated assistant coach Ryan Thompson to defensive coordinator, the program announced Thursday. Thompson spent the past three seasons developing talent and implementing game plans under head coach Michael Davis. The Sea Horses, a Division I program, finished 7-4 last season and have been a consistent contender in the Vermont high school football landscape. Thompson's promotion is expected to bolster the team's recruiting efforts, particularly in the defensive backfield. With Thompson at the helm, the Sea Horses will look to build on their recent success and compete for a state championship. The team's summer camp is set to begin July 25, with the first practice scheduled for August 1.
