Jordan Walker Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Fair Haven Slaters tight end Jordan Walker, a Class of 2026 prospect, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. Walker, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound athlete, chose UTSA over other Division I offers due to the school's pro-style offense, which aligns with his skills as a pass-catching tight end. He will have an opportunity to contribute immediately as a freshman, given the Roadrunners' current depth chart. Additionally, UTSA's strong academic programs, including its business and engineering departments, were a major factor in Walker's decision. Walker previously held offers from several Division I programs, including Appalachian State and Louisiana-Monroe, before committing to UTSA in February 2023. He will report to the Roadrunners' summer camp in July, where he will begin preparing for the upcoming season.
