Florida has extended a scholarship offer to Carson Thomas, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker from O'Dea High School in Seattle. Thomas, a Class of 2026 prospect, has been a standout performer on the 3A level, recording 75 tackles and 10 sacks as a sophomore. He has also garnered interest from other Power Five programs, including Washington and Oregon. Thomas's impressive speed, agility and tackling ability have made him a coveted recruit in the Northwest. With the offer from Florida, Thomas now has a total of six Division I offers. As the recruiting process heats up, Thomas is expected to make official visits to several schools, including Florida, Washington and Oregon, in the coming months. His final decision is expected to be made by the end of the calendar year.
