Eastside Catholic Crusaders Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade
The Eastside Catholic Crusaders, a 3A powerhouse from Sammamish, have officially broken ground on a $1 million facility upgrade project. The Crusaders finished last season with a 9-3 record, advancing to the state quarterfinals. The facility upgrade, set to be completed in time for the upcoming season, will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, a renovated weight room and a new turf field. The upgrade is expected to give the Crusaders a competitive edge in the highly competitive 3A classification, where they'll face off against perennial powers like Bellevue and Issaquah. The Crusaders have been actively recruiting top talent from the Puget Sound region, and the facility upgrade is seen as a major selling point in their efforts to attract top players.
