Hunter White Commits to Iowa State
Bellevue Wolverines linebacker Hunter White has committed to Iowa State University. The Class of 2026 standout will join the Cyclones in the fall of 2027. White chose Iowa State for its 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his strengths as a pass-rushing linebacker. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately, as the Cyclones' depth chart at his position is expected to be thin. Additionally, White was drawn to Iowa State's academic reputation, particularly its strong programs in engineering and business. White previously held offers from several Power 5 schools, including Washington and Oregon, but ultimately decided on the Cyclones. He attended Iowa State's summer camp in June, where he impressed coaches with his skills and work ethic.
