Malik Davis Commits to Baylor
Bellevue Wolverines kicker Malik Davis has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2025 standout chose the Big 12 program over other Division I options. Davis cited Baylor's strong kicking game as a key factor in his decision, noting the Bears' emphasis on special teams will provide him with ample opportunities to contribute. He also praised the university's academic program, which aligns with his goals of pursuing a degree in business. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound specialist attended a summer camp at Baylor in June, where he impressed coaches with his accuracy and leg strength. Davis was previously committed to the University of Washington but decommitted in May after reassessing his options. With his commitment to Baylor, Davis becomes the first Bellevue player to pledge to the Bears since 2018.
