Bellevue Wolverines Girls Flag Football Recruits Target Verified Scholarship Programs
As the WIAA flag football pilot district expansion creates new scholarship pathways for Texas athletes, Bellevue Wolverines girls flag football recruits are honing in on verified programs. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is a top Power 4 school offering scholarships. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, is also on the radar. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are actively recruiting and offer NAIA scholarships. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is not yet offering scholarships. Bellevue Wolverines athletes can take concrete steps by researching these programs, attending summer camps, and building relationships with coaches.
