Graham-Kapowsin CB Cameron Hall Commits to SMU
Graham-Kapowsin Class of 2026 cornerback Cameron Hall has committed to Southern Methodist University. Hall, a 4A standout, chose SMU due to the Mustangs' athletic fit. The SMU defense operates primarily out of a 4-3 scheme, which aligns with Hall's skills as a press-man corner. He projects to compete for a starting role immediately, bolstering a secondary that returns several key contributors. Additionally, SMU's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, appealed to Hall's academic aspirations. Hall had previously considered Arizona State and Boise State before decommitting from the Sun Devils in April. He attended SMU's summer camp in June, where he reportedly impressed coaches with his technique and athleticism. Hall's commitment adds to SMU's 2024 recruiting class, which currently ranks among the top 20 nationally.
