Waunakee Warriors Eye Experienced Coordinator Hire

๐Ÿ“ Waunakee WarriorsยทWednesday, July 1, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Waunakee High School athletic director, Mark Dignan, confirmed the Warriors are actively pursuing an experienced coordinator to join head coach, Ryan Christopherson's, staff. Christopherson, in his 10th season at the helm, has compiled a 74-22 record, including three state championship appearances. The Warriors' coordinator position became vacant following the departure of longtime assistant, Mike Roberts, who accepted a similar role at nearby Middleton High School. If the Warriors land a top coordinator, it could impact recruiting in the Badger State's 4A division, potentially drawing top talent away from neighboring programs like Madison Memorial and Sun Prairie. Dignan emphasized the importance of finding the right fit, 'We're looking for someone who can help us take the next step, while also being a great fit for our community and our program values.'
