Jordan Wilson Commits to SMU
Kaukauna Ghosts linebacker Jordan Wilson has committed to Southern Methodist University. Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 225-pound inside linebacker, chose SMU over several other Division I offers, including Wisconsin and Iowa State. The Class of 2026 standout is expected to contribute immediately to the Mustangs' defense, which employs a 3-4 scheme that aligns with Wilson's strengths as a tackling machine. SMU's defense is also expected to be bolstered by the return of several key starters, providing Wilson with a depth chart opportunity to develop and grow. Additionally, SMU's academic program and business school, which is highly regarded, made the university an attractive fit for Wilson's academic goals. Wilson had previously committed to Wisconsin but reopened his recruitment in April, ultimately choosing SMU as his future home.
