As the inaugural 2028 season approaches for the University of Nebraska's Power 5 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, local multisport athletes are taking notice. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also verified NAIA programs with up to 12 and active recruiting efforts, respectively.
