The Muskego Warriors are on the rise in Wisconsin high school football, and their female athletes are no exception. With the inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football season set to kick off in 2028, multisport athletes from the area are taking notice of the opportunities available. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is one of the top programs to watch. They will offer up to 12 scholarships in their inaugural season. Ottawa University, Kansas, is another national powerhouse offering up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters in the flag football space. For Muskego's multisport athletes, this means taking a closer look at their skills and considering a pivot to flag football for college opportunities. Coaches and scouts from these programs will be attending summer camps and showcases, providing a chance for athletes to get noticed and take the next step in their football careers.
