Marcus Thomas Commits to Arkansas
Muskego Warriors quarterback Marcus Thomas has committed to the University of Arkansas, joining the Razorbacks' Class of 2027 recruiting class. The 7A prospect, who is expected to compete for the starting quarterback position, cited the school's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision. Arkansas' depth chart currently features a mix of experienced and young quarterbacks, and Thomas believes he can contribute immediately. Additionally, Thomas was drawn to the university's strong academic programs, including its business and engineering schools. Thomas initially committed to Wisconsin in January 2025 but decommitted in April 2026 to explore other options. He plans to enroll at Arkansas in January 2027 and participate in the team's spring practice. Thomas is a dual-threat quarterback with a strong arm and quick release, and he is expected to be one of the top recruits in the state of Wisconsin this fall.
