Cameron White: Blue Devils' Rising Star
St. Marys Blue Devils running back Cameron White has been a force to be reckoned with on the field, despite a challenging road to the starting role. Last season, White averaged 7.2 yards per carry, leading the Blue Devils in rushing yards with 1,204. However, it was his perseverance through adversity that truly caught attention. White suffered a season-ending ACL injury in his sophomore year, forcing him to spend the next two seasons rehabilitating and rebuilding his strength. The Class of 2026 standout has since returned to the field, earning a starting spot on the Blue Devils' offense. Scouts are now keeping a close eye on White's ability to maintain his impressive speed and agility, as well as his vision and decision-making in the backfield. As the Blue Devils prepare for the upcoming season, White is poised to be a key factor in their success. His determination and work ethic have not gone unnoticed, and it will be exciting to see how he performs in the WVSSAC Class AA playoffs.
