Morgantown Mohigans Flag Football Athletes Eye Expanded Scholarship Options
As WVSSAC's flag football pilot program expands into new districts, Texas high school athletes are gaining access to more scholarship opportunities. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season, is a Power 4 school with a verified scholarship program led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Nebraska's program offers a clear path for talented players like Morgantown Mohigans' standout flag football athletes. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are actively recruiting flag football players and offer up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it is not yet offering scholarships. Athletes interested in pursuing flag football scholarships should research and reach out to these programs directly.
