Thunder Basin Bolts Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade

The Thunder Basin Bolts, a 4A powerhouse from Gillette, Wyoming, have officially broken ground on a $1 million facility upgrade ahead of the 2026 season. The Bolts, who finished 10-2 last year, will benefit from the new facilities, which include a state-of-the-art weight room, a renovated locker room and a turf field. The upgrade is expected to give the Bolts a competitive edge in recruiting, as the program looks to build on its recent success. With several key players returning, the Bolts are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs. The new facilities will also provide a boost to the program's summer camp, which is set to kick off next month.
