Laramie Plainsmen TE Bryce Johnson Commits to UTSA

๐Ÿ“ Laramie PlainsmenยทSunday, July 12, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Bryce Johnson, a 4A tight end from Laramie, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio. Johnson, a member of the Class of 2026, chose the Roadrunners due to their strong emphasis on utilizing tight ends in their offense. The Plainsmen's scheme, which often features multiple tight end sets, aligns with UTSA's system, providing Johnson with an opportunity to contribute immediately. Additionally, Johnson cited the university's strong academic programs as a major factor in his decision. Johnson had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in May, ultimately selecting UTSA as his top choice. Johnson's commitment marks the first for the Roadrunners from the state of Wyoming in the Class of 2026.
