Elijah Walker Commits to Army Football
Natrona County tight end Elijah Walker has committed to play football at the United States Military Academy. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Class of 2027 standout chose Army over other Division I offers, citing the Black Knights' pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision. Walker believes he will have a chance to contribute immediately, potentially filling a void left by a departing tight end. Academically, Walker is drawn to Army's rigorous liberal arts program and its reputation for producing well-rounded graduates. Walker had previously committed to Wyoming but decommitted in April after visiting other programs. He has been attending Army's summer camp, where he has been able to showcase his skills in a game-like setting. Walker's commitment marks a significant addition to the Black Knights' 2027 recruiting class.
