Darius Hall: The Long-Distance Kicker Finds Home
Cheyenne Central Indians kicker Darius Hall connected on 12 of 15 field goal attempts last season, including a 45-yard game-winner against Laramie. The 4A Indians' kicker transferred from out-of-state and quickly earned a starting role. Hall's accuracy and leg strength have made him a key component of the Indians' offense. In the offseason, he has been working on his mental preparation, studying game footage and developing strategies to stay focused under pressure. Hall's transfer from a larger school in a neighboring state has given him a unique perspective on the Wyoming high school football landscape. As he enters his senior season, scouts are watching to see how he adapts to the WHSAA's new kicking rules and whether he can maintain his high level of performance. With his experience and work ethic, Hall is poised to be one of the top kickers in 4A this season.
