Eagle River Wolves Name New Coordinator
The Eagle River Wolves have elevated assistant coach, Alex Johnson, to the role of defensive coordinator. Johnson has spent five seasons with the program, developing talent and contributing to the team's recent success. In that time, the Wolves have compiled a 25-15 record, including a 12-2 mark in 2024. As a result of Johnson's promotion, the Wolves are expected to maintain their competitive edge in 3A's 4A classification. With the addition of Johnson to the staff, the team is poised to continue its upward trend. Johnson's experience and knowledge will be crucial in recruiting top talent from the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
