Dimond Lynx Flag Football Players Eye Nebraska's Inaugural 2028 Season
As the 2026 preseason heats up, Dimond Lynx flag football players in Anchorage are looking ahead to the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season. Coached by Liz and Katie Sowers, the Cornhuskers will be a Power 4 program to watch. For Anchorage prospects, Nebraska's entrance into the Big Ten means more opportunities for scholarship consideration. Other verified scholarship programs in the region include Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter in the Sun Conference. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. Dimond Lynx players interested in pursuing flag football scholarships should research these programs and reach out to coaches directly to discuss their eligibility and recruitment status.
