South Anchorage Wolverines Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade

The South Anchorage Wolverines, a 4A powerhouse in the Anchorage area, have officially broken ground on a $3 million facility upgrade. The project, expected to be completed by the start of the season, includes renovations to the locker rooms, weight room and fieldhouse. The Wolverines have been a consistent force in Alaska high school football, with a 2022 record of 9-2. The upgrade is expected to give the team a competitive edge in recruiting, as well as provide a state-of-the-art environment for players to train and prepare. With the upgrade, the Wolverines are poised to continue their dominance in the 4A classification, and the ASAA will be keeping a close eye on the team's progress this season.
